He's Back!

The family clan is now complete! Chance, Chase's brother, got back on Tuesday from his mission in Taiwan. We got to go to Idaho to meet him getting off the plane and spend a few days with the family. Fun stuff! It was great getting to know him a little more since he left right after we got married.

And...our pot garden is growing! (Much excitement...refer to previous post...)

We have also recently discovered a recipe for Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes. Pretty much chocolaty heaven-on-a-plate.

Green Thumb? Mmm..we'll see...

I like to plant things, but whether they survive or not is another story.

This is the daisy my mom gave me; so far so good.

Our attempt to grow a garden with pots. We tried planting in the actual garden plot last year and everything died when it got about two inches tall. And now there's morning glory overtaking the whole thing. Hopefully this pot-garden will work! Although one of our cucumbers already bit the dust..and we only planted it yesterday...

And these are nifty tulips that I just like alot.

Hopefully we can grow something we can actually eat this year!

Not Quite Sure What toThink

Why is it that sometimes you look forward to something and you get there, but then you miss what you had been doing before? I actually MISS school... a little. Yes it's nice not having homework and all that fun stuff, but I miss feeling like I'm being productive. For some reason, working just doesn't give me the same sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. I feel like I'm going crazy for even saying this since I was so extremely excited to be out of school! Go figure...

Park City

Since it was our anniversary yesterday, we went to Park City to celebrate/take a vacation in celebration of school being out! It was so great to just be away for a few days.

We started off the weekend by going to our stake conference. Elder Oaks came and spoke. It's a really neat experience to see an apostle in person. He spoke about some things that I needed to hear as far as encouragement goes. He is a really funny guy in person! He had us all laughing lots!

Then we went to visit some friends that we've been missing at Primary Children's Hospital. It was great to be able to talk to them for awhile and meet their new baby.

Here's Chase on the lookout at the Olympic Park. It was a pretty view.

Chase in front of the ski jumps.

These are the practice ski jumps where they land in a pool. The pool was empty.

The nifty sign thingy at the entrance.

Chase and I on Main Street.

Me in the most famous spot for taking pictures here. (I swear anyone who has ever been here has one of these pictures!)

It's a good thing there are such things as vacations. What would we do without them?

Almost there....

Eight finals to go... and then.... FREEDOM!

Well, Park City for our anniversary to be exact. But for us, it will be a few much needed days of freedom!

Oh and I just have to add that our chives are growing! Yes, it might finally mean spring is coming. Maybe...

Bye Katelyn!

You'll be a great missionary and we'll miss you! :)
