Blessing Day!

Gavin had his big day on Sunday. Chase gave him a beautiful blessing. We're grateful we had so many family and friends come to help celebrate Gavin on his special day!

Bear Lake Trip

The last few years my family has started going to Bear Lake and we went this weekend. We used to go every year when I was little so it's been fun to get the tradition going again. It was nice this year that there was a beach to play on, other years the water's been so high we were swimming in the weeds!

Lauren, of course, had the time of her life. She's so funny though, last weekend she was scared of the water and was hesitant to go in... not this time! She ran right in and we couldn't get her out!

 Contrary to her facial expression, Lauren thought the hot tub was the coolest thing ever!

Gavin and Jocelyn got along so great they linked arms hanging out on the couch together. :)

It was a great weekend vacation!

Month 1

I used to laugh at those moms who got all nostalgic and weepy over their children growing up. I get it now. :)

 He's smiling now and awake most of the day. His reflux is much better and he actually sleeps for 5-6 hour stretches at night! He doesn't like being cold or loud noises. He loves to be talked to and listening to music. I had him in Primary this week and he loved singing time. It was fun to watch him go still and his eyes widen every time we sang.

I'll admit handling two kids is harder than I thought it would be. Maybe sometime soon I'll be able to get showered and out the door before noon! :) It's good though, I would rather snuggle all morning than run errands anyway!

Downata

This last weekend we headed to Downata Hot Springs for a Christensen family "camping" trip. (Not sure it could be classified as true camping according to my brother-in-law, but it was close enough. :))

I'll admit I was a little apprehensive going with a new baby, but he actually did really well. Granted, we didn't sleep much, but that's not out of the normal regime right? :)

Lauren had a ball playing and running around. She wasn't a fan of the big swimming pool, but finally got in to splash a little. 

Captain Adorable- Grandma even gave Gavin his very own swimming suit. :)

I hadn't been to Downata since I was 12 or 13 so it was fun to back and see what was the same and different. It was a fun trip! Off to Bear Lake with my family next weekend!

Cousins

Cousins are great! And we just found out my other sister will add to the bunch again in February!

Getting a picture with them all smiling and looking at the camera was a feat!

Reunion

This last weekend we were able to head to Bountiful for one of my best friend's weddings. It was a really fun day and seven from our group of eight high school friends were able to be there. It was good to catch up with everyone!

Marker Bandit Strikes Again

The markers are going up yet another drawer. She found and hid them in a movie case ready to perform her devious act when she was put to bed. Oh brother.
