Written, printed and bound. Now I can graduate. Phew.

3 Weeks, 2 Mondays, 1 Interview, 1 New Calling, 1 Final Project

Whew! We're almost there! We have three more weeks until school's out! Yippee! Kind of... then real life starts. We only have two more Mondays to go through, I FINALLY got an interview instead of a rejection letter, I am almost done with the hugest school project for forever and Chase got called to the Bishopric! It's been a busy little while and I think will stay busy for the next three weeks. But that's okay, busy is good. :)

Decisions, Decisions

There are alot of things that I think sound fun. So many things. I wish I could decide right now what I want to do with the rest of my life. There are so many options. People say that options are a good thing, and they are, but wouldn't it be easier if there were only ONE really good one? Oh man... at least I don't need to make a decision quite yet. I'm just glad that there's Someone who knows EXACTLY what I should do. Patience...

I Got to Play

It was a good weekend. We had homework but decided to be slackers and take a break to go to Antelope Island with my family and fly kites. I have a really awesome cute bug kite that I've had for years and I love flying kites. So it was really fun to go and spend some time doing something fun.

We went to my cousin, Jared's, farewell this morning and it was nice to see alot of family that we haven't seen for awhile.

I also got to play with my nephews on the swings and in the sandbox today. They make me smile.


And it's my mom's birthday this week so we got to celebrate!

My Computer Nerd Hubby

He calls himself a nerd. Which is totally different from a geek; we've looked it up. It comes in very handy to have a computer nerd as a husband. I've been promising for awhile to do a post of all his computer glory. So here it is. Yes, he has alot of stuff and I love him for it.

This is what he affectionately calls the "man cave". After I put up pretty yellow curtains he calls it the "girly man cave." At least they weren't pink. :) He would like to point out his pride and joy: his 23" monitor.



A computer nerd must always have an abundance of mice and extra keyboards... just in case.


And at least four towers to salvage parts from.

I'm Spoiled

Guess what I got for a graduation present this weekend?



Yep, a fancy, smancy new Digital SLR.

I thought I wouldn't have one of these for years.

I mentioned to Chase a few months ago that someday I would like to learn more about photography and take it up as a hobby. I've wanted to since taking photography classes in junior high and high school, but I thought I would get one when we had kids, more money and time to actually do something like this. I should never underestimate Chase. Ever. He arranged a deal with the parentals and they've always been so nice and great to me so now I am a proud owner... that really doesn't have an inkling what the buttons on it do!

I have a basic background in photography but I used an old manual SLR camera that my dad gave me from his mission, and I love it. It's a really cool camera, and it only has like 3 buttons. I can deal with that. As excited as I am about being able to learn about this new camera I don't think I've even found all the buttons on the thing there's so many! But I have dreams of one day being able to take pictures like Ali, Jackie, or Michelle. They're amazing.

So basically I am thrilled, but overwhelmed at the same time that I got lucky enough to marry a guy that really takes the phrase "give me everything I want/need" to the extreme. Pretty sure it'll take me a good while to do justice to this new camera, I guess it's a good thing I got it now so I can actually learn to use it before we have kids to take pictures of!

I am way too spoiled for my own good. My own parents and Chase's parents have always helped give us what we need, and some of what we want. Thanks. :)
